The RCRS program includes 4 mandatory workshops. Each of the four required workshops is offered 4 times over the Winter semester, so you have a variety of dates and times to select from. These workshops are taught by Michigan Engineering faculty. Please register for one of each of the workshops (A, B, C and D). The workshops may be taken in any order.
The College of Engineering RCRS program is required training for all Ph.D. students and postdoctoral research fellows. Rackham Graduate School requires that all incoming PhD students complete RCRS training to advance to candidacy. This training should be completed within the first year of your graduate program. Any College of Engineering student (undergradate, masters, PhD) with NSF/NIH grant or fellowship funding is also required to complete the training. See Training Requirements for alternative training.
If you cannot attend a workshop that you have registered for or if you would like to request an override for a full workshop, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
